As the Asia-Pacific region prepares for the growing needs and opportunities for sustainable infrastructures, ADFIAP member-DFIs, partner-organizations and invited guests will convene on May 13-15 , 2015 in Nha Trang, Vietnam for the 38th ADFIAP Annual Meetings with the theme, “DFIs & Sustainable Infrastructure: Policy Framework, Operational Best Practices and Challenges”. The event, hosted by member-Vietnam Development Bank (VDB), is expected to be attended by over a hundred delegates, mostly CEOs and senior officials, from about 30 countries.

Conference topics revolving around the theme will be covered in four (4) sessions. Session I on policy framework in infrastructure development will feature the experiences of Russia’s Vnesheconombank, Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) and Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus; Sessions II and III will cover financing of sustainable infrastructure through the sharing of experiences of the Land Bank of the Philippines, Development Bank of Japan Inc., Development Bank of Turkey, Development Bank of Mongolia, China Development Bank and Vietnam Development Bank. Session IV will be on support systems for infrastructure development, i.e., platforms/tools for infrastructure project preparation and financing, and will feature the experiences of IDBI Bank Ltd (India), DFCC Bank (Sri Lanka), the Sustainable Infrastructure Foundation and Green Climate Fund.

Other highlights of the annual meetings include the 21st Ordinary Meeting of the General Assembly, the 81st Board of Directors Meeting, the Conference Proper, Delegate-Meets-Delegate session, the ADFIAP Awards 2015 and the Fellowship Tour.

The ADFIAP Annual Meetings serve as a platform for its members and stakeholders to share knowledge, best practices and experiences as well as to tackle current and emerging issues and challenges.
